From tomorrow, Bhitar Kanika National Park will open for tourists.
- Visitors can enter Bhitarkanika by way of Gupti, Khola and Chandbali.

The Bhitarkanika National Park in Odisha's Kendrapara district will be reopened for tourists tomorrow(1st August 2019) after three months of break. From 1st May, the interconnection was discontinued for tourists for the procession of the mating(reproduction). Now after the process is over, this National Park has been opened again. This year 5 government and 253 private boats have been arranged. Visitors can enter Bhitarkanika by way of Gupti, Khola and Chandbali. With this in view of safety, the photo identity card and life jacket etc. of the tourist has been made compulsion.
In last year, Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) of the Rajnagar Wildlife Division, Bimal Prasanna Acharya said they had made extra arrangements for the tourists by operationalising eight cottages at Dangamal for night halt inside the park, which will attract and increase the number tourists who want to stay inside the National park
