Odisha's Latest News-Naba Kishore Ratha passed away
Bhubaneswar: Nab Kishore Rath, Chief Engineer and Secretary, Department of Public Works, passed away today.
He died at the age of 62 at his residence in Lakshmi Sagar. His last rites were performed at Puri Swargadwar in the afternoon.
After graduating from Patna College of Engineering in 1901, he began his career as an SDO at PWL. He worked as an assistant engineer at the Aviation Research Center in Charbatia. He was later promoted to Executive Engineer and Superintendent Engineer.
The man behind the construction of the capital is Nab Chariot. He was also an engineering member of the BDA. He was the director of the Odisha Bridge and Construction Corporation.
He was a member of the technical team formed by the ASII in 2009 to protect and repair the Puri Jagannath Temple.
In 18 he retired as Chief Engineer and Secretary of Engineering.
Mr. Rath's death has been mourned in various palaces.
