Puri Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb’s daughter to tied knot
Bhubaneswar: Today is the wedding day of Gajapati Divyasingh Deva's daughter, Princess Debeshi. She will marry Aditya Keher from Haryana, the Burdwan prince Aditya Keher. He is the son of Rajib Keher from Gurgaon (Gurugram).
According to reports, elaborate arrangements were made for the wedding. Due to Covid pandemic restrictions, the wedding will not be an extravagant affair. However, two parties have been organized to entertain the guests. Raja Nahar, which is the palace of the Puri Kings, will host a feast. Another celebration will take place at the May Fair Hotel Bhubaneswar. Mahaprasad will be served in Raja Nahar to the guests as an offering from Lord Jagannath.
According to reports, the bridegroom arrived at the ceremony yesterday afternoon around 5 p.m. The wedding was attended by many Royal families. Yesterday, they visited Srimandira and made obeisance at the Lord Jagannath temple. They stayed there until 6 PM, paid obeisance to the Parswa Deva Devis, and then returned to Raja Nahar.
Puri has made special arrangements for guests. According to reports, they all paid a visit to the temple following strict Covid guidelines.
