Set up by a visionary philanthropic group of 54 NRIs as Hospital Corporation of Orissa (HCO), a company registered in the United States, the hospital was registered under the Companies Act of 1956 on May 2, 1990. Since its inception in 1990, the hospital has served the community by providing preventive, curative, and rehabilitative treatments to patients of various economic and social backgrounds.

To satisfy tertiary health care requirements, our Centre of Excellence comprises an enhanced 24 x 7 Emergency and Trauma Care Unit with 42 bedded Critical Care Unit. We also have a track record of more than 300 successful Kidney Transplants. In Odisha, the first well-equipped Cardiology & Cardiac Surgery Dept. (Private) was created. Modern Neurology Unit (better known as the Institute of Neuro Science), Medical and Surgical Gastroenterology Department with Modern Machines – Hemoclip, APC, ERCP, and so on. And having the most Dialysis Machines under one roof in Odisha is also a high point for KHL.
