News:Cyclone Hamoon Makes Landfall: Odisha and Rameswaram on High Alert
Odisha Cyclone News:
Cyclone Hamoon has initiated its landfall along the coast of Bangladesh and is projected to transition into a deep depression within the following six hours.
Due to the cyclonic storm, the Odisha administration has put all Urban Local Bodies (ULB) on high alert.
Fishermen are advised to refrain from entering the Northeast Bay of Bengal, as well as areas near Bangladesh and the northern coasts of Myanmar until October 25. They are also advised to avoid the adjacent areas of the northwest Bay of Bengal and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal until Wednesday afternoon, as per the bulletin issued by the India Meteorological Department.According to the bulletin, the storm is projected to move towards the northeast and is anticipated to diminish into a deep depression over the next twelve hours.
